Starting way back in the 70s I have had the amazing opportunities to be involved in interviews and media. It began when I was racing BMX, and continued up until recent years with stage backdrops. Future interviews with Keep Crayin' On will be taking place, including a live segment at the 9News studio in Spring '26 for the Quarter Mile of Crayons world record. Stay tuned!

Back in the late 1970s, during my BMX racing years, I was interviewed by Steve Kelly from KIMN 95 AM at a stunt show we were doing at a shopping mall. We performing jumps over a 4x4 pickup truck, then the station’s mascot, the KIMN Chicken. It was one of those early experiences with adrenaline, performance creativity, and community energy.

Still, during those BMX years of the 70s, I called up The Denver Post on a whim to see if they’d be interested in covering our neighborhood “field of ramps.” To my surprise, they showed up with a photographer, and the next day I found myself on the front page, mid-air over my friend below. It was one of those 'Go for it and just ask' moments that came with the early resume reward.
